Subaru Gears Up for Move to New Premises
-
ON THE 18TH of December, a convoy of Subarus will set off from the Leng Kee Road premises that have housed the marque for the last 18 years, bound for brand new digs in Toa Payoh. The symbolic move marks a new chapter in Subaru’s history here, with the new facility representing the first of several flagship premises which will eventually be built in the regional markets that Subaru distributor, Motor Image Enterprises, currently has a presence in.
The $25 million flagship 3S (Sales, Servicing and Sale of parts) showroom in Toa Payoh will boast, amongst other facilities, a roof top drive-through “garden” for showcasing Subaru’s all-wheel drive technology as well as a concierge-style approach to customer service. It will also function as a training centre for Motor Image’s regional operations.
The new showroom should officially open for business early next year.
