For most pragmatic Singaporeans, it is hard to make sense of a car like this here. It’s got a somewhat large engine (at least by local standards), is loaded with electronic traction and dynamic aids that probably never get much of a workout here, and you can get an entry-level A4 1.8T which looks very much the same for a lot less.

But put the pedal to the metal, find a real bit of twisty tarmac somewhere and then it all starts to make perfect sense.
