Ferrari partners Shell to come up with a range of realistic model cars

SHELL IN COMMEMORATION of its partnership with Ferrari for over 60 years has launched a new collection of limited edition 1:38 scale model GT Ferraris with improved features that can be purchased exclusively at Shell service stations islandwide.
From now till 29th April 2008, for every $50 spent on Shell V-Power or 4-litres of Shell Helix Ultra entitles one to purchase a Ferrari model car at $3.95 each. Alternatively, spend $50 on Shell Formula Petrol 98/95/92, Shell Diesel or 4-litres of Shell Helix Super and get one at $5.95 each.
The highly sought after range of model cars are the second series to be launched in Singapore (the first series was launched in 2006) and will be only exclusive to Shell. The collection of limited edition scale models comprises of seven evocative GT Ferraris such as the FXX, 599 GTB Fiorano, 430 Challenge, 250 GTO, F40, Challenge Stradale and 575 GTC.
Shell in partnership with Ferrari strove to remain true to the brand essence and unique sound of each model car in the collection. These seven models feature sound chips that play unique and realistic engine notes representative of the road going Ferraris they are modelled after along with a high speed ‘pull back and release’ action.
Despite the affordable price tag, the model cars also feature strong product detailing such as accurate car badging and directional tyres with tread patterns that replicate the ones fitted to the road going Ferraris.
