Hitting an STi high |

INTERIOR Seats are greatly supportive, but plasticky dashboard brings the tone down
|
The cliff-like dashboard isn’t eye-pleasing, and though the iffy plastics used all over the cabin are just about passable in an Impreza 1.5, they don’t do the top-of-the-line STi any justice. While there’s plenty of rear legroom, the boot’s high floor makes the usable area pitifully shallow. Roll the flexible luggage cover out, and you’d have problems getting an average-sized paper shopping bag to stand upright in there. Saving graces include a perfect driving position, supportive yet comfortable front seats and a pleasing looking set of instruments.
