The return of the Fiat 500 completes the retro tripartite, with the VW Beetle and Mini at the other two corners. Like the other two, the 500 is now more than just a basic runabout and has become a fashion statement by itself.

Unlike other compact hatchbacks that have almost no room in the back seats, the 500 has a decently designed and sized boot along with good rear seats, which shows that Fiat really though hard about packaging the car. Fifty years on from the original, the baby has grown up.
