SL, SLK and CLS make local debut
The three pointed star launches three redesigned models

MERCEDES BENZ RECENTLY unveiled facelifted versions of the SL, SLK and CLS locally on June 4.
These three cars come have had varying degrees of exterior and interior improvements made to keep them up to date.
The SL has received the most obvious sheet metal changes. The most notable of which is a new front end comprising of an enlarged grille, L-shaped headlamps with cornering light function, revised bonnet and bumper. There is also gill-like panels on the front fenders now along with arrow shaped LED indicators on the side mirrors.
Its interior benefits from an instrument cluster with 3D surround and three spoke steering wheel.
An SL280 variant has also been added to the range. This model is powered by a 2996cc V6 engine producing 231bhp at 6,000rpm and is mated to a standard seven-speed automatic transmission. The SL280 shares this unit and transmissions with other Mercedes Benz models such as the E280. The SL350 has an increased outputs of 315bhp up from 272bhp previously.
The CLS and SLK come with subtle exterior and interior revisions. The former is equipped with a new alloy wheel design, two louver front radiator grille and LED tail lamps. Interior wise, a three spoke steering wheel and redesign instrument cluster back plate round up the changes.
The folding hardtop SLK has new alloy wheel design, restyled chrome exhaust pipes and smoked tail lamps for its exterior. Inside, there is a now three spoke steering wheel and 3D instrument cluster.
