It’s a throughly Renault interior, with similar styling to the cars in the Megane series. The cabin is nicely spacious all round, and the keycard with push-button starter setup still feels high tech after all this time.

A split tailgate at the rear makes it easy to load the boot, which has a flat floor to make arranging boxes in there a breeze.

Sound insulation is above average, and we did find ourselves going much faster than we thought we were most of the time.
