Porsche 911 S, $425,888 with COE
Maserati says this car is a key rival, and the Porsche is more overtly sporty, offering nimbler handling and the sort of driving experience that rewards bravery, smoothness, skill, and all the rest of it. It’s not as explosively fast as the Maserati,though, and won’t seat four adults. Look for a revamped version with a new twin-clutch gearbox soon.
