Things are tighter in the last row, naturally enough, and if you’re taller than 160cm, you’ll probably find it squishy back there. It helps that the middle row slides back and forth, but then the roofline’s swoop tends to eat into headroom for those with Row 3 tickets. Besides that, the lack of rear air-con vents means it gets stuffy in the rearmost part of the cabin, so it’s best to reserve those seats for the people you like least. Ergonomically, the Wish is fuss-free in typical Toyota manner. The controls sit high up and fall to hand easily, and their simplicity means it’s a safe bet that no one has ever looked at the dashboard and thought to himself, “I wonder what this button does?” The same thing goes for the rear seats, which fold and slide and contort with ease-of-use designed right in.
