Unveiled: Facelifted Mazda RX-8

Refreshed rotary-engined four door coupe gains exterior, interior and suspension tweaks

MAZDA MOTOR SINGAPORE recently launched a facelifted Mazda RX-8.

The updated model sports exterior changes which include a redesigned bumper, new head- and tail - lamps, a tweaked rear bumper and larger exhaust pipes. There are also new 18-inch alloy wheels.

The interior gains a revised dashboard fascia and an electric driver’s seat with eight way adjustment and memory function.

Elsewhere, the front and rear suspension have been revamped with new dampers, coil springs, suspension bushings and stabiliser settings.

The RX-8’s 1.3-litre rotary engine produces a maximum of 215bhp and is mated to a standard six-speed automatic gearbox.

It only comes in one trim level and is highly equipped with features such as a nine speaker Bose sound system, a stability control system, a limited slip differential, high intensity discharge headlamps, fog lamps, aluminum trimmed pedals, a sunroof and cruise control.

The facelifted RX-8 is priced at $108,988 with COE.
