THE SINGAPORE MOTORSHOW’S organised by Motor Traders Association is around the corner. To be held in September instead of its usual month of November, the new show dates are timed to coincide with the inaugural 2008 Formula One Singtel Singapore Grand Prix. It will be held from 26th September to 5th October.
This year there are only three car exhibitors Nissan, Subaru and Honda. It will also occupy one level at the Suntec Singapore Exhibition Centre down from the previous two.
Subaru is the biggest exhibitor at this year’s show and the main attractions at its booth are the newly launched Impreza small sedan and Exiga Multi Purpose Vehicle. Subaru also has stunt car performances that will be carried out by Russ Swift and his son Paul.
Nissan will preview the new Murano Sports Utility Vehicle and GT-R supercar both of which will be launched next year while Honda will have the official launch of its new City compact sedan at the show.
The public is strongly advised to take public transport as traffic is expect to be congested around the Suntec City area due to the F1 race being held on the same weekend.
