KIA WILL LAUNCH the Soul urban crossover passenger car at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.
The car has been designed to appeal to the young and young at heart and will be sold in Asia, Europe and the United States.
It has a boxy exterior design that blends the looks of a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) and a small hatchback. Despite the car’s SUV looks, it will not be offered with a four-wheel drive system.
According to a source from the brand’s local distributor Cycle & Carriage Kia, the Soul will most likely be equipped with a 126bhp 1.6-litre engine. This unit is shared with the upcoming Cerato replacement called the Forte. There is no word on what transmissions will be offered. Cycle & Carriage Kia is still in talks to bring the car in and the Soul will most likely be launched in the first quarter of next year.
