Skoda Superb Simply 1.8 T (A)

Superb size me

And if the DSG was worth it, then the interior and usability of the Superb gives it bang for your buck and then some.

As mentioned, the extended wheelbase translates to serious space both back and front and can even rival more illustrious limos like the Mercedes-Benz E-Class in the room stakes. Only Ford’s Mondeo is larger with a wheelbase of 2,850mm.

Interior quality is of a high standard, as expected from a VW Group product: everything clicks and clacks into place without protest. A serious black colour scheme gives the cabin some understated elegance, although there are some things to mark it as a Skoda – the green backlights, the different steering wheel design and gearshift surround.

Worth mentioning is Skoda’s Twin Door boot system which is useful. It’s a combination of both a normal boot and a liftback rear - just pop an extra handle if you need to throw a couple of noisy children inside for example.
