Skoda Superb Simply 1.8 T (A)
April 9, 2009

Superb size me

Harvest Automobiles offers the Superb in two trim levels – the one you see here has all the toppings (called ‘SimplySuperb’, don’t ask why) and costs ten thousand bucks more than the base version.

For the extra dosh you get a whole lot of stuff: 18-inch alloys, bi-xenon headlights (adaptive too), headlight washers, tinted windows, rear blinds and a useful folding shelf boot floor. You also get a 30GB touch-screen navigation and entertainment system with ten speakers and Bluetooth connectivity, amongst all the usual things like dual-zone air conditioning and cruise control.

And what’ll draw lazy drivers (or those who like comfort) to this car like moths to a flame is the Parallel Parking Assistant: simply cruise up to a lot and press a button, then control the gas and brakes. No steering required.
