Audi outlines model expansion plans
The Ingolstadt based premium brand aims to broaden its range to 40 over models by 2015

AUDI HAS ANNOUNCED ambitious plans to expand its range to over 40 models within six years.
The German premium marque has revealed that it will launch a Q3 Sports Utility Vehicle which will complement the larger Q5 and Q7 in the lineup when it makes its debut in 2011.
No details have been given on the car but it is expected to be based on the platform of the new A3 which could be unveiled next year. Audi says that the compact SUV is the latest beneficiary of the two billion Euros allocated annually by for the development of new models.
The brand has also dropped hints that the design studies shown recently like the Mercedes-Benz CLS rivalling Sportback concept would form the basis for future production models.
