Like the exterior, the interior is a big, big improvement over the old car – sumptuous materials, clever design (the front grille is mimicked in the air-con vents) and a basic multimedia control system.

Head and leg room are generous like before, but the new car feels a lot wider and spacious in terms of shoulder room. Noise, vibration and harshness are mostly non-existent, as expected, although there is a slight whine from the transmission, especially pre-shift.
