Special edition of the BMW iX3 electric SUV ties in with Marvel’s latest movie, Shang-Chi, limited to eight units

SINGAPORE – BMW Singapore has announced a new version of the iX3, the fully-electric version of the X3 SUV, as a tie-in with Marvel’s Asian superhero movie, Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings.

The special edition, named the BMW iX3 Legend Edition, is available in white or black (Carbon Black or Mineral White) and has M Performance cosmetic touches – that includes carbonfibre mirror caps and door sill finishers and M Performance side decals in Frozen (i.e. matte) Black. There are also fixed BMW hub cap logos – where the ‘BMW’ words always face the right side up.

The edition is limited to eight units, for Singapore only, and there’s no pricing as yet because this will be the facelifted iX3 (the BMW X3 itself gets a facelift, expected to launch soon) that hasn’t been homlogated here. Interested buyers can visit this link to register their interest and put down a deposit. BMW is also giving away Marvel merch and an ‘Electrified Drive Package which includes a 2D1N staycation package at the Parkroyal Collection Pickering, Singapore.’

The iX3 might not give you super powers, but like other BEVs, it could at least help save the world, if not reduce local pollution.

What’s the deal with the iX3? The fully-electric version of the X3 debuted here just last month and made a splash as the least expensive X3 around, thanks to EV/VES rebates.
