BMW is the Official Car Partner for the Singapore Convention Week, meaning a fleet of its cars is up for grabs

SINGAPORE — BMW will be the Official Car Partner for the Singapore Convention Week, meaning a fleet of its cars will be used to drive VIPs around during the event, which runs from August 2nd to 8th.

The specific cars – 33 units of the 4 Series Gran Coupe and 40 of the 5 Series — go on sale tomorrow. As if often the case with such “event cars”, steep discounts are likely on offer.

Arnt Bayer, Managing Director of Performance Motors Limited and Veronika Hammond, Director of Sales, BMW Group Asia, handed the fleet of cars to Edwin Tong, SC, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Law and Ministry of Health, at a ceremony yesterday.

BMW Asia did not say which specific model variants are part of the fleet. A spokesperson said, “Regarding the event car pricing, customers are invited to speak to (Performance Motors’) sales consultants to find out more.”
