Volkswagen announces new next-gen electric platform

Volkswagen unveils its new Taigo coupe-SUV

The coupe-SUV trend has been taking off in recent times, but most offerings now currently reside in the premium luxury segment. Audi Q5 Sportback now in Singapore

And yet more coupe-SUVs! Audi is getting in on the act too, with its latest Q5 Sportback now on sale here in Singapore. Derryn reviews Singapore’s first performance electric motorcycle

The electric movement isn’t restricted to just cars, and motorcycles are getting in on the act too. Italian manufacturer Energica has now debuted its range of electric bikes here in Singapore, and Derryn has taken out one of them, the EsseEsse9+ for a ride. Check out his review here.

Ju-Len thinks that smaller is better, at least for the Mazda CX-3

Sales of Mazda’s CX-3 small crossover have been humstrung locally by a COE-unfriendly 2.0-litre engine, but things are about to change. The CX-3 has now been given a new 1.5-litre powerplant that puts it neatly into COE Cat A, and Ju-Len thinks that it should be just the ticket to help it become more popular here. Test drive a Hyundai EV…from a Shell station?

Fancy test driving a Hyundai electric vehicle (EV), but don’t want to head down to the showroom? Well, Hyundai is taking the test drive to you! From 5 to 18 August, local Hyundai distributor Komoco Motors is placing an Ioniq Electric at the Shell Paya Lebar MacPherson petrol station for customers to book for a 60 minute test drive. Tesla opens its first showroom in Singapore

Tesla has officially announced its arrival in Singapore, and its first showroom has opened right in the heart of town, within the Raffles City shopping mall. The new showroom marks the start of Tesla’s official presence here, and the electric car brand has also delivered its first cars to customers from its sales and servicing facilities in Toa Payoh.
