SINGAPORE –
Motorcycle dealership Mah Pte Ltd opened its re-vamped showroom complex on 1179 Serangoon Road last night. The facility will be the home for four Italian brands – Piaggio, Vespa, Aprilia and Moto Guzzi – here in Singapore. All four brands are under the ownership of the Piaggio Group.

The new showroom, with 200 square-metres of space and the ability to display up to 26 vehicles, follows the Piaggio Group’s ‘Motoplex’ concept which has already been applied to other major dealership stores in places such as Milan and New York.

This move makes the showroom the largest of its sort in Singapore, at least in terms of brand choice, and underscores the Piaggio Group’s status as the largest European producer of two-wheeled vehicles by volume.

The facility has different sections for customers to explore, including an open air lawn, a mezzanine lounge area, an accessories and customisation section. Eugene Mah, managing director of Mah Pte Ltd, said the company aims to take a slightly different approach here, by creating an environment where customers feel welcomed and can relax.

Officiating the launch were representatives from Piaggio Asia Pacific and Mah Pte Ltd (above, left to right): Mr Neri Miclaus, Area Manager of Piaggio Group; Mr Eugene Mah, Managing Director of MAH Pte Ltd; Mr Constantino Sambuy, Executive Vice President of Piaggio Asia Pacific; Mr John Mah, Chairman of MAH Pte Ltd; and Mr Simone Niccolai, Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing of Piaggio Asia Pacific.

To celebrate the launch of the new showroom, there’s a family open house on Saturday and Sunday, October 3 and 4, from 10am to 6pm with pop-up stalls, refreshments, collectibles and special motorcycle promos.
