The Audi E-Tron EV convinces not by being a shock rocker, but through cool, comfortable commuting in Singapore
We’ve already had extensive experience with Audi’s first full electric vehicle (EV), the E-Tron – the debut story from San Francisco covers all you need to know about it, while Ass. Ed. David Khoo drove it – and got it stuck – in the desert, while our own Ben Chia proved it could hack it in the countryside of New Zealand too (CB290).
But the true litmus test is a proper drive at home on Singapore’s roads, and after more than 100km in the E-Tron it’s a bit of a surprise: Despite Audi’s reputation for sportiness, there’s almost nothing better for calm, zero-tailpipe-emissions motoring here.
