Guitar legend Eric Clapton’s Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano has turned up in the second hand car market. It’s not expensive by our standards, but you’ll have to move somewhere rainy if you want one…

Good news if you love the blues as much as you love your cars: Eric Clapton’s Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is on the market. A listing for the car has turned up on UK classifieds site Auto Trader.

“GVE London are extremely proud to present this elegant Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano F1 with beautiful contrasting Nero Daytona Black exterior on Castoro Light Brown interior,” the listing says. “This well specified Ferrari features Carbon Ceramic Brakes, Yellow Brake Calipers, Scuderia Ferrari Shields, Monolitic 20″ Alloys, Front and Rear Parking Sensors.”

The car was registered in April 2007. That means you could import it to Singapore one day as a classic car — that day is in April 2042, however.

The asking price meanwhile? £89,900, or S$161,300 in our money. Basically it’s that or a new BMW X1 sDrive18i, although you’d have to move to England to swan about in Eric’s Ferrari.

If you miss this one, you’ll have your chance in the future. The former Cream guitarist has a thing for Ferraris and is said to have owned at least 10.

Mind you, if you fancy something similar here, we’ve found a 599 GTB for S$275,000 with seven years on its COE. It hasn’t been graced by a famous backside (so far as we know), but here’s betting the V12 is as musical as Eric’s best efforts.
