Celebrate the #JoyToCome at #BMWJoyFest2020. There’s plenty of incoming cheer with special offers, featuring all BMW models
There’s little doubt we could all use a little more joy in our lives.
Hanging out with our mates, playing a team sport, or even just sharing a simple meal – all those fundamentally joyful things are still around the corner.
But there’s one other fundamental joy you can enjoy sooner, rather than later: The experience of owning a BMW. From the thrill of piloting the iconic BMW 3 Series sedan that’s defined the sport sedan segment for nearly five decades, to the practicality and indomitable style of the BMW X1 SAV (sports activity vehicle).
That’s because BMW’s JoyFest 2020 is here, a celebration of all things BMW, and it’s moved entirely into the virtual world this year with the entire BMW experience available just a few clicks away.
At JoyFest 2020, you can experience joy now, save more, and stay safe. Enjoy special offers and savings on the entire range of BMW models here in Singapore, paired with a fully-contactless booking experience for peace of mind.
What is it: It’s the BMW that redefined the idea of just how sporty sedans could be, now in its seventh-generation and still the benchmark of what an executive sedan should be.
Who’s it for: For those who want a car truly built around a driver’s desires, and with the latest technology to match.
The first BMW 3 Series appeared in 1975 and immediately set a new benchmark, proving that sedans could be sporty and driver-centric. 45 years later, the seventh-gen BMW 3 Series continues that legacy with its best-in-class driving dynamics, thanks to innovations all around, including BMW’s 184 horsepower inline four-cylinder 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo engine and eight-speed Steptronic Transmission, variable sport steering and the latest suspension technology.
From the outside, it’s a shining example of BMW’s new design language, with its taut, dynamism something especially obvious in M Sport trim.
The BMW 3 Series isn’t just a sharp-looking, sharp-driving instrument, it’s also at the cutting edge of technology.
That’s also reflected on the inside with BMW’s new driver interface concept, BMW OS 7.0, which includes the fully-digital 12.3-inch Live Cockpit Display for driving data, and the touchscreen 10.25-inch Control Display with Navigation for infotainment.
It also includes BMW’s Intelligent Personal Assistant, capable of acting on natural voice commands to control everything from the climate (“Hey BMW, I’m cold.”) to calling your loved ones (“Hey BMW, call Mom.”). And while it puts the onus on the driver for pleasure, it can also handle all the not-so-pleasing stuff with features such as the Reversing Assistant, Real Time Traffic Information and navigation, and access to the whole range of BMW Connected services.
What is it: BMW’s small sport activity vehicle (SAV) that packs a whole lot of style and rugged identity into a practical, family-friendly package that’s not too large and easy to drive.
Who’s it for: The BMW enthusiast and/or family man who want the image of BMW’s powerful X SAVs, but with the flexibility of space in a smaller package.
There’s no mistaking the BMW X1 for what it is: A member of BMW’s line-up of X SAVs, which include the mighty seven-seat X5 and uber-luxurious X7. That’s no coincidence, since it has the same sporty, off-road inspired design as its siblings, with a focus on a tall, strong road presence and its unmissable full LED head- and taillights providing powerful illumination for maximum visibility and safety.
The X1 is the smallest of the BMW X line-up, but it’s big on space and practicality so you can realise the joy of taking the whole family with you. The tall stance spells generous headroom and five adults can fit comfortably because the X1 makes the most of everything. The second row of seats is fully adjustable, you can slide them forward up to 12cm and adjust the seatback angle as well. The 40/20/40 split folding system means you can accommodate whatever cargo you wish – the boot is a huge 505-litres, expanding to 1,550-litres with all the seats folded down.
At heart it’s also a BMW, so there’s no missing out on thrills behind the wheel either. The X1 is available with a 1.5-litre or 2.0-litre engine, both with BMW’s TwinPower Turbo technology and seven-speed Steptronic Transmission with Dual-Clutch. Paired with BMW’s Driving Experience Control system, you simply select your preferred driving mode and the car will deliver the experience to match, from sizzling Sport to efficient Eco Pro.
