What do you spend on when you have a net worth of USD$500 million dollars?

“Soy Georgina” (I am Georgina) is a new Spanish documentary, now streaming on Netflix, which revolves around Georgina Rodríguez, partner of football sensation Cristiano Ronaldo.

Netflix’s latest documentary, at its very core, is a fairytale and like all fairytales, it is full of hope while consciously sidetracking the ugly realities of the world. Flashy cars, jewellery that costs more than plots of land, clothes from the costliest brands across the world and a whole lot more. Apart from being a fiancée to a professional footballer, the soon-to-be father of six is also a petrolhead at heart. Today, we list out the cars which were seen on Netflix’s latest hit documentary which gives us never-before-seen access into the life of Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez.

Bugatti Centodieci

In one snippet of the series, the cameras show the garage of their house in Madrid which contains a number of his extraordinary cars. One of which is Ronaldo’s £8.5m (S$15.5m) Bugatti Centodieci. It even has his trademark initials ‘CR7’ inscribed on the body. Given the 36-year-old’s status as one of the most recognisable faces in the world, Ronaldo gains access to cars others simply cannot. The Centodieci is considered a rare purchase for even the wealthiest supercar collectors given only ten have ever been made.

Bugatti Chiron

In one of the docuseries episodes, footage of Ronaldo’s cars parked perfectly alongside one another can be viewed multiple times throughout the series, with the standout motors including Ronaldo’s Bugatti Chiron which alone is thought to be worth around £2m (S$3.6m). With Cristiano seeming to be one of their loyal customers, we’re certain Bugatti would want to replicate their feat of selling over S$25m worth of cars this year as they did the year before. The Chiron, as we know, goes for at least S$4m in its ‘basic form’ in Singapore.

McLaren Senna

The McLaren Senna is the ultimate track car that’s still legal enough for public roads. Only 500 units of the Senna were built, and the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is behind one of the famous owners. His spec is finished in a combination of silver and polished carbon with red accents. Ronaldo has been pictured a few times cruising the car in Lisbon, Portugal. We’ve yet to get a glimpse of what new cars of 2022 caught Cristiano’s eye so far, but we’re sure it’ll definitely turn heads. In Singapore, a Senna would ring up the register at around S$4.5m. Hard up? McLaren just launched a ‘cheaper’ supercar here in Singapore – the S$2m 765LT Spider.

Bugatti Veyron

Only 450 Veyron 16.4 Grand Sports were built, so of course, Ronaldo wanted a slice of that rarity pie. The Portuguese superstar bought this £1.7m (S$3.1m) car as a treat to himself after winning the Euro 2016 championship with Portugal.

In terms of performance, it does 0-100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, pretty much the same speed his free-kicks fly at. Well, we don’t have the car to show you as it’s a left-hand drive, and Singapore roads are built for right-handed drivers. Ferrari F12 TDF

Ronaldo showing off his new Ferrari F12 TDF on Instagram back in 2017.

Four years ago, Ronaldo took to Instagram the arrival of his new Ferrari F12 TDF that now resides in his Madrid garage. Only 799 were made during the production run in 2015, and the Italian manufacturer did not take long to sell them. With a top speed of 340km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in 2.9 seconds, no wonder it was always reported that Ronaldo was always the first to arrive in training.

Given that the 1.87m Manchester United forward has a thing for extravagant cars, we wonder if the 2022 Ferrari 296 GTB is on his wishlist too. But we figure it’s probably too common.

Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG Coupe

Ronaldo is cautious about projecting an image of power and control on or off the field, and this hulking beast fits right into that profile. The coupe packs the trademark S-Class luxury in a two-seater body.

If you don’t command wages of £480,000-a-week and don the number seven jersey at Manchester United, fret not. The 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class offers a similar look and feels to the S-Class.

What’s surprising is that Ronaldo doesn’t have a Rolls-Royce – at least as far as we can tell. We show you what’s special about one in our review of the Ghost EWB limo

Porsche 911 Turbo S

This particular car was delivered to Cristiano way before most other 911 Turbo owners got their facelifted ones. Fame does, of course, have its perks, and this is certainly one of them. It was prominent in one of the episodes as Georgina was in the garage picking out colours for the redecoration of their Madrid home. With his fiancée expecting twins now, we wonder if Cristiano would trade this 911 Turbo S for something more practical for his family. Say perhaps – an SUV like the Porsche Macan?

Ronaldo is obviously spoilt for choices for cars, knowing he earns a staggering £26.52m a year. That’s S$48,408,027. Although it is not reported which cars he already purchased this year, we are more certain what more ‘normal’ people could aim for here in our luxurious cars that we can expect in 2022.
